Today I finally got time to go down to CHUO and take some photos for Audiovisual which you can get the this week’s podcast on apt613.
Today they had a guest (who I forgot his name) about cassette tape labels and Liar’s Rosebush (aka Matt Rosen) coming in from the CD Release Party from last night.

Working Creatives – Royal Oak

May 20th I went to a group called Working Creatives run by Harry Nowell.
Where I got ot meet people who are photographers, video people, engineers and graphic designers.
It was the season closing meeting because summer is starting and people will be away.

On Victoria Day, I went to Dow’s Lake to check out the Tulips there.
Also there was a small fair happening too.

May 13th was a fun evening for myself, I went to Raw Sugar Cafe (second time in 1 day).
It was Found Magazine’s The Demin and Diamonds Tour.

Photographic Expressions of Asia

Tonight I went to the Library and Archives Canada to attend this photographic show called Photography Expressions Of Asia.
Part of the Asian Heritage Month in Ottawa, celebrating Asian culuture and diversity in the Ottawa area.
It was by Dr. Neville Poy, O.C. who is also a photographer, and Senator Vivienne Poy.
They visited Bhutan, China, Hong Kong, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam.
Lots of nice photographs that Dr. Neville Poy took during they journey through Asia.
Surprised with the images he took.
Makes me want to go back to Asia.
I’ve been to Hong Kong but I was “pre” photographer.
Overall it was nice event, I didn’t know there were some politicians were at this event too.
